This Privacy Policy describes how Rainn Inc. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use BOARD at brd.ing (the "Service").

Your Photos

This is the part you care about most, so we'll be direct:

  • Photos you upload are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after processing completes.
  • We never store your photos on our servers beyond the time required to process your edit.
  • We never use your photos to train AI models.
  • We never share your photos with third parties.

This is a core principle, not a policy we'll revisit later.

Data We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you provide. This is used solely to manage your account and credit balance.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We retain transaction records (amount, date, credit pack purchased) for accounting purposes.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage analytics through PostHog to understand how the Service is used. This includes page views, feature usage, and general interaction patterns. We do not sell this data.

Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Authentication — keeping you signed in.
  • Analytics — PostHog uses cookies to track anonymous usage patterns.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable precautions to protect the information we handle.

Data Retention

Photos: deleted immediately after processing. Account data: retained while your account is active. Transaction records: retained as required for accounting and legal compliance. Analytics data: retained in aggregate form.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Since we don't retain your photos, there's nothing to delete on that front.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify users via email or a prominent notice on the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
