This policy explains what BOARD collects and why. BOARD is operated by RAINN Inc. If you use the website or editor, you are trusting us with image data, session data, and sometimes account data. This page is intended to describe that in plain English.

1. What we collect

Uploads and edit data. When you use BOARD, you may upload images and generate edited results. We process that data to run object detection, removals, exports, and related product features.

Guest session data. If you start without signing in, BOARD creates a guest session. That flow may use browser or device fingerprinting plus temporary identifiers and tokens so the app can initialize your session and keep track of your starting credits.

Account data. If you sign in, we may receive your name, email address, and account identifiers from our authentication provider.

Usage and device data. We collect analytics and diagnostic information such as page views, clicks, browser details, and feature usage so we can operate and improve the product.

Payments data. If you buy credits, checkout and payment details are handled by our payment provider. We may receive payment-session information and purchase status, but not your full card number.

2. How we use the data

• Run BOARD's image-upload, detection, editing, and export workflows.
• Create guest sessions, sign-in sessions, and credit balances.
• Process purchases and keep credit balances in sync.
• Measure usage, improve reliability, and investigate errors or abuse.
• Communicate with you about support or account issues if needed.

3. Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate BOARD. These may include authentication providers, analytics providers, payment processors, storage providers, hosting providers, and AI model or inference providers involved in detection and editing workflows.

4. How uploads are handled

Your uploads and generated outputs may be transmitted to our servers and service providers so BOARD can perform detection, removal, and related processing. We do not describe BOARD as an on-device editor. If you upload an image, you should assume it is processed on remote infrastructure in order to provide the service.

5. Analytics and cookies

We use analytics tools to understand how people find and use BOARD. That may involve cookies or similar browser storage mechanisms and event tracking on the website and in the app.

6. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to sign in, although some account and purchase features depend on it. You can also contact us to ask questions about your data, request deletion where applicable, or exercise privacy rights that may apply to you, including rights available under California law.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the service, but no internet system is perfectly secure. Please avoid uploading material that would create unreasonable harm if disclosed.

8. Children

BOARD is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The current version will be posted on this page with the effective date above.
